Hedgehog in the fog

This series of pictures was drawn by a personal order. As Illustrator I really love the idea to create those illustrations based of one of my favourite Soviet shorts animated films.
The “hedgehog in the fog” is an international bestseller which has already been published in many languages. It is one of the most beautiful, evocative short films ever made.
The screenplay to Hedgehog, and the short story on which it was based, was written by Sergey Kozlov. He is a Soviet story writer and poet. The film depicts a hedgehog walking through the fog to meet his friend, a small bear. For their tradition of drinking tea and counting the stars. The hedgehog gets lost in the fog on the way, though, and a brief but life-changing adventure ensues.
